The only problem that we have found under Vista is that if you take the default output/work path, the files won't be visible. This is because non-admins use UAC, which ends up putting them someplace else. What fun!
If you just want to go to the files, you can browse to C:\Users\your_account\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\StationRipper\ (where your_account is your username) and you should see the folder and browser.
If you want to turn off UAC, you can do this:
- Go to Start Menu/Control Panel and click the User Accounts icon.
- In the window that opens click Turn User Account Control on or off.
- Uncheck the box next to Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.
- Click Ok. Eventually you have to reboot for the change to take effect.
If you browse to \Program Files\Ratajik Software, and do folder options on StationRipper, you can change the options to show the shadow folders, so the files will be visible in that directory..
