Q: How do I get the program? A: You can download it from the main site.

Q: I've tried it, but it's not letting me access some things, or limiting the number of streams I can record at once. A: You can register the software, for $19 - that unlocks everything.

Q: I've bought the software, but it's been a couple of hours and I haven't received my registration info - how do I get it? A: First, make sure that you check your PayPal e-mail. This is the e-mail address you gave PayPal when you bought the software. ALL registration info appears in that e-mail. If it's not there and we'll track it down for you.

Q: I've got my registration info - how do I use it? A: First, download the program. Once you do that and install it and run it. Go to the Help Menu and Click on "Register". It will ask for your Name, e-mail, and Registration code - enter that information from the Registration e-mail you received (EXACTLY!) and click "Register".

Q: I've been recording for a while, but no A: "Completed" songs are those that you have the ENTIRE song - that is, if you started recording someplace other than the start of the song, you got disconnected, or in some way didn't finish the song, then it's not complete. You will generally miss the first song, as it is unlikely you will start recording just as it starts. If you want to copy incomplete songs, you can use the Premium option "Copy Incomplete Songs".

Q: I keep getting the same song name over and over (it's over-writing), or the song never completes, no matter how long I record it (general talk radio). A: The song name needs to change in order for it to be complete and be copied. If the song name doesn't ever change, or it's talk radio (a constant stream, again with no title change), then StationRipper won't detect it has finished. You can turn on the Premium functions "Copy Incomplete Songs" and "Increment Song Names" and periodically stop and start the station. You'll just end up with a big file with (possibly) multiple things in it, but it will be moved to Complete and will have a unique name.

Q: Does StationRipper run on Linux, Max, or OS XYZ? A: At this time, StationRipper only runs on windows (95-XP/2003). It uses MFC, and directly used Microsoft Internet Explorer, so it is unlikely it will run on anything else in the near future.

Q: Where in earth I can find more World of Warcraft Tips and Guides? A: You may at look at this find and check out their refer links..

Q: I get Cannot Connect errors on many, or all, streams. A: Do you have a firewall? If so, StationRipper.exe needs to be able to have access to outgoing port 80, and StationRipperConsole.exe should have full outgoing access (broadcasters can choose which ports to have their stations on, so there isn't a predictable set that you can open).

Q: My settings aren't saving (or - why do I need to run as admin?) A: You can either run as a user with admin privilages, or give the user read/write access to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Ratajik Software->StationRipper (we'll be fixing this in a future release!)
