Hi,
last week I registered and ripping shoutcast everything was fine. But if I start ripping Last.fm I always have an error message after app. 15 minutes. So the first few songs are ripped correct. Here you see an extract out of the logfile: [Debug] 08/05/09 21:06:44 TheRipperDlg.cpp(8337): Use MediaMonkey is is on [Debug] 08/05/09 21:06:44 MediaMonkey.cpp(38): MediaMonkey already started. [Error] 08/05/09 21:08:27 TheRipperDlg.cpp(1804): RipErr: Ripper 4 (LastFM - deltablues Tag Radio) reported a error: Error: System. Net.Sockets.Socket.DoConnect(EndPoint endPointSnapshot, SocketAddress socketAddress) bei System.Net.Sockets.Socket.InternalConnect(EndPoint remoteEP) bei System.Net.ServicePoint.ConnectSocketInternal(Boolean connectFailure, Socket s4, Socket s6, Socket& socket, IPAddress& address, ConnectSocketState state, IAsyncResult asyncResult, Int32 timeout, Exception& exception) --- Ende der internen Ausnahmestapelüberwachung --- bei System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() bei d.a(Boolean A_0) . Killing stream. My system is Win XP SP3. Thanks in advance! M |

Hello,
it took me the whole last night but I got a solution. And maybe someone else has the same problems so here is my solution.
You have to do some changes within the Last.FM player. Disable automatic HTTP-buffer (Group Radio) and set a higher value. Mine is now 1024KB. Disable the option to send error messages (Group Connection). Now enable the Zombie mode and it works. You will still have some lost connections if you try to ripp rare tracks but you can easy restart ripping. CU M |

I tied this, but still getting lost connection and out of buffer errors every 20 mins or so.
What's Zombie mode? I don't see any option for that. Thanks! |

I was getting a lot of 404 errors after every couple of songs which killed the stream. Mogdar's advice seems to have resolved this issue.

Actually, it might have helped some, but I'm still getting 404s.

Hi,
maybe it is related to your tags. I still have messages if I'm ripping rare streams like delta blues. Obviously it takes to long to find the next available song so the stream will be killed. With easy tags like classic rock I don't have this issue. CU M. |
