Hi,

Using v.2.25  I can see the whole screen but not on the new version 2.35 or 2.35A.  I have a 800*600 and can't see the vital bottom buttons and the URL.

Just wanted to add that I tried changing my display resolution so I could fit the whole program on the screen and no matter what the buttons and space to put the URL just can't be seen.

Hi Mr,

I'm looking at it - not sure what's up.  What's the max resolution you tried?  When you when you went to that, did you try to maximize the window?

It MIGHT be something messed up in the registry. You could try uninstalling StationRipper and then re-installing it (make sure to choose not to delete the Database).

Or if you know how to edit the registry, you could just delete the Ratajik Software->StationRipper entry (under machine), and StationRipper will re-default everything.

Hi Mr.,

Did this fix the problem?  If not, I will force the next release of StationRipper to reset to the default.

Hmm, I have the same prob on a 2nd comp. I used to use my main comp, which worked fine, but then I moved the prog to my networked comp with no keyboard/mouse and I only access it using Remote Administrator. But that comp does not show the buttons or URL bar either. Strange. Was a fresh install of SR 2.35 as was my first comp which worked. Maybe it's a dll or library file missing or something. Using XP w/SP2 on both.

Any settings I could check or reg entries to modify?

edit: my remote screen was 800x600 too during install, but changed it to 1024x768 to fix prob with no diff. I haven't rebooted the comp yet, though. Maybe that will help.

New version up.  It will:

  • On first run, if you are under 1024, will max to the screen size.
  • If you click "Reset to Defaults" on View->Options, will also max if under 1024
  • Changed the key it's using for window size - everyone will reset, but see if that fixes it for you.

Hmm, I have this problem too. Using v2.50a, if I install it in 800x600, it has no buttons. If I install it in 1024x768, it has buttons, but when I change resolution back to 800x600, the buttons disappear after restart.

Clicking "Reset to defaults" on the options page didn't do anything?

Sorry for the very late response.

I tried fresh install and everything, but I just can't see the bottom part no matter what.  This video card is old 800*600, I can change resolution but it makes no difference.  So I've been using the old one for now.

I can move the window around and resize it but it's like they are just not there?

I also tried 2.5 but no luck.
