I used to be able to rip stations and really loved this program.
Now I always get an error saying that it could not connect tothe stream
- check the stream is up and that your proxy settings are
correct. Even when I turn my firewall off - reset firewall to
accept station ripper- and try a different station I can't get it to
rip at all. I really miss this wonderful thing. Any help
would be appreciated. thanks  |

Hi Blue, there hasn't been any changes that would do this - I would normally say something is blocking StationRipper from connecting to a station. If you go to http://www.shoutcast.com, can click on a station that you would normally be recording, does it play ok? -Greg |

hi, i have been running station ripper for years and have till now always streamed music for free until recent i cant . it doesnt open up and show its streaming like it used to it just plays. till now ive had no real answers as how to get it back and stream . i used to stream groove salade and lounge radio .and miss my streamed music ,as i then take out the stuff i dont like and keep the rest ,but at least from the list remaining i can buy from itunes or elsewhere.

Just tried it and it looks it work. If you go to the Station list (the ones you've recorded in StationRipper before), can you record any of those? -greg |
