 Hi Greg

I was reading this article from Billboard regarding security issues

http://billboard.blogs.com/billboardpostplay/2005/07/can_pod casts_in.html

I know that Stationripper has a option to download valid media files only,my question is this,if there were a .vbs .pif or .exe file someway embedded in a media file and the real extension masked as noted in the article and the recent spate of malware being installed by fake DRM dialog boxes in downloaded .wmv files

Would checking this box prevent any type of malicious code or program from being downloaded ? does this only work if the file is showing it's true file extension or will it still catch it if it's true extension is hidden  ?
