Version 1.12 of StationRipper was released today at 6 PM EST.  You can get it from the main mirror here.

Thanks for all the help testing this one.  We hit a couple of problems, but thanks to all the user testing and feedback I think this is a improved version that everyone will like.

Changes:

  • Buy the songs and albums you are ripping.
  • Find other programs on your machine that are listening to a stream, and start ripping them  (supports ripping iTunes Radio Stations). 
  • Resize/maximizing main window.
  • Improved interface.
  • On "MyRips", added a button to browse to the folder your music is in.
  • MP3 Browser (play/delete the songs you've ripped).
  • Added a "default" button to options (just in case you mess 'em up).
  • Added a checkbox on Options to auto-load first URL (That's normally shoutcast - if you uncheck it, it won't try to go out a grab that page.) Also can not load any page, if you want to just use MyStations.
  • Change the browse window to either a pre-sorted shoutcast location or any other web page.
  • Option to overwrite existing MP3's
  • Run rippers at low priority.

Note on version notification:  I won't be turning on notification for those running older version for the next couple of days.

"Check for Update" info has been updated - if you're running the V1.10+ version of StationRipper, you should see a notice ONCE about the new version.  Previous versions will show a message on each run (that was fixed in V1.10)

About StationRipper:

StationRipper will allow you to "record" various internet radio stations. It will allow you to get a list of available Shoutcast stations and start recording them, creating a single MP3 file for each song the station plays.

It will also:

* Allow you to record up to 300 streams at one time.
* Buy the music and albums you are ripping.
* "Memory Recording" - It will keep track of all the songs you download, copying the final song file to your music library. If that song gets re-recorded in the future, it will skip it (so, if you end up deleting it, it won't record, bloating your collection with music you don't want).
