I've been thinking about registering SR for a bit now, but I don't see any info on what's in the works for SR's future or anything that indicates a significant level of activity. I would think that the vast number of those that register do not go Gold, what awsomeness will you bring to the table to make them open their wallets for the next big thing???

Hi Dan,

Yep - not much going on the last year - only added support for recording turnable.fm, about 3 months ago.

The "Gold" pricing has been in place for about 5 years. During that time, I've adapted StationRipper to keep up with the times - primarily around recording "Internet 2.0" - things like Pandora.

I continue to keep it up - but to date I've never charged anyone for a upgrade. Take that as you will :)

I would most likely charge Standard users for a upgrade if and when I re-write the software. It's on very old tech and is showing its age. I'd likely do a ground-up re-write, using newer tech (make it look better, add more function, more music management, etc)

i purchased SR about 6 mohths back for Pandora. It worked great till pandora changed their interface to pandora one. Now SR does not work correctly. This is the only reason I bought SR and now it is useless to me untill SR fixes the pandora issue.

I don't think SR supports the loading of the flash or java that the new pandora one web interface uses.

Please fix SR! I loved your product when it worked correctly.

I've been using SSR to record Pandora even when Pandora changed to the new version. Greg, it would be great to add some sort of "keep alive" for Pandora to avoid the "are you still there?" messages.
